• December 2008 Intercessory Prayer Request

  Happy December and Happy Advent! Please join me in praying for the following requests over the holiday season: *        Music: Please pray for the music plans for NWMC, for the people doing the planning, the musicians to be asked, etc. *        Youth Programs: Please pray for all our youth programs and their coordinators: Junior High - Rob Alkhas, Katie Arnold and Anna Parkinson; Senior High - Rob Bradford; Young Adult - Ginny Teitt. Please pray as they begin recruiting staff and preparing for their programs *        Summer Service Please pray for the team members: Rene Hilbelink, Emilie Humes, Luke Joachim, Claudia Brown, Nicole Merritt, Ben Oegema, Steve Nelson, and Josh Blessing, led by Kyle Joachim. The group will be traveling to Berlin Update from Fletcher: Joy to the World Ministries is busy working on plans for the next conference.  Their new website iswww.jtwministries.org.    Please keep JTW in your prayers especially plans for the conference.  Recruitment of the 2009 conference delegates is about to begin.  This week, we have a team going out to some of the colleges under the University of Malawi to talk about the conference to interested students at those colleges. Update on David Bailey: David is going in for surgery this afternoon. He will check in at noon and the surgery should begin by 3pm. Please pray for David and this surgery, as well as follow-up testing for treatment. In addition, look for David on CNN! He will be interviewed and followed by someone throughout this process. • November 2008 Intercessory Prayer Request

  Hello everyone and Happy November! As we approach Thanksgiving we find that we have much to be thankful for and hope you do as well. Please join us as we continue to pray for the New Wilmington Mission Conference and we thank YOU for all your dedication. *       Attendance - Please pray that lives are touched and hearts are opened as we strive to meet our goal of 1050 this year. *       Publicity - This is the key to getting the desired attendance.  We ask that you particularly pray that we are able to reach youth groups and youth who have never attended. *       Speakers and Leaders - Please pray for continued recruitment efforts and even at this early point that the Lord will be preparing the words they are to speak. In addition to these prayers we have a few prayer requests from the NWMC family: 1. Margie Stock is in the hospital in Karachi, Pakistan.  She was weak, with a heaviness on her heart, very low blood pressure and heart rate, and extremely high blood sugar.  An update indicated that she did not have a heart attack, and her blood sugar has improved some.  Please pray for the Lord's healing. 2. Rev. Fred Horst had a heart attack on August 25, and on November 10th he had another one.  Please pray for his healing. Thank you for all you do and may you have a wonderful holiday.
