Team Experiences:

It's been an amazing weekend! We had a lot of opportunities to get together with the Riptide Youth Group and Connections group. On Friday Night we had the opportunity to preset the lesson for Riptide. They planned a Superhero Costume Party. We tailored our lesson to that idea. We each had a quirky power that didn't work becase we couldn't control it or our weakness made it impossible.
On Saturday we took a trip with Riptide and Connections to Potsdam. We spent the day there relaxing in the glorious sun, talking with the kids, playing ultimate frisbee, and walking around the park. In this area there was a palace and other buildings and structures that we were able to enjoy looking at. For Sunday a BBQ was planned in the Tiergarten Park, which is very close to the Lukas Geminde - the church we've been attending here. Both of these opportunities turned out great, this weekend was supposed to be very rainy but we had beautiful weather the whole time. We also had the chance to strengthen our relationships with both groups of kids.

Personal Experience:

I work at Breakout on Monday's. During the past couple of weeks I have been able to start building a relationship with a high school girl that attends their after school program. We've been able to talk about her family and this last week I tried to talk about her religion but she ddin't know enough about the practices or just generally didn't want to talk about it. I hope that I can be able to plant the seed and the workers of Breakout have the ability to help it grow. Please pray that my actions and words show her Christ in me.
