My name is Andrew Dawson and it's been a while since I've been too involved in NWMC.  Work has prevented me from attending the full week for five years, but I got there this year with my wife, Jill.  As always, it didn't disappoint.

The most influential part of my week was an afternoon meeting where Dr. Scott Sunquist discussed Presbyterian Mission in a Flat World.  You can both listen to and read his thoughts along with my responses to his questions for consideration in that forum thread.  What struck me was that I work with all the technologies he discussed on a daily basis (everything but the Berlin Wall).

I am not an expert on Christ's mission fields, but I am knowledgeable of the internet technology we need to use.  Speaking with mission experts throughout the week made it clear there is a need and an interest in how to use the web to support, encourage and empower the reach of God's missionaries.

Simply put, blogs are a simple way (yes, they are easy) to connect to the largest audience in the world today. Nearly the whole world is accessible through the internet. 

In this blog, I hope to discuss why Christians should use the internet as they live their mission to the world and how to do it.
