When using a blog or a forum, you have to think about adding
information to a website differently. Writing to a blog or a
forum adds posts instead of creating or changing web pages. Posts
basically consist of a subject and a body and can be anything from a
large article to a single sentence in length. They are often
displayed in multiple locations so they can be found and used more
easily.
Once someone has created a blog for you, here's how to write your first post:
- On the blog's main page, there is a Common Tasks area on the right sidebar. Click the Write a Blog Post link in it.
- Type
a title for the post in the Title box and the information you want to
post in the Body box. You can use the buttons above the body to
format text, create links and lists, insert pictures, cut, copy and
paste.
- Click the Publish button on the bottom right.
