Since I spoke of the blog network,
I'm going to try to get networking by recommending some technology
related blogs. You can check them all out by clicking on the
"blogs to watch" tag under the Post Categories area on the right side
of my blog's home page.
Presentation Zen
is a really nice blog by Garr Reynolds. It focuses on how to give
presentations, the good, the bad and has quality insight on how to use
Powerpoint. It's named properly in the fact that it is a little
more arty than I am, but Reynolds works hard to drive home that the message should be the focal point of the presentation.
He
doesn't give how to advice about using all of Powerpoint's features,
but instead encourages speakers to think about how they can use
Powerpoint to enhance focus on their presentation. This probably makes
preparation more difficult, but speakers who follow this advice will
connect powerfully and spur their listeners to action.
His best post may be a comparison of Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Steve Jobs (Apple).
