If you're writing a blog post, but don't have time
to write the whole thing, there are three different ways to save your progress. You have the following 3 buttons to save your post. Here's what they do:
- Save and Continue Writing - This will save your work and bring you right back to the edit post page so you can continue working on the post. I use it often to satisfy my compulsive saving disorder. If you go do something else, you can always return to your post by clicking on the "All Posts" menu
item under the "Manage Content" group in your blog's control panel. Then click on the link that is the same as your post's title to continue editing it.
- Save, but don't Publish - This button will save your work and then display the list of all of your posts. You can continue working on it the same way as is described above.
- Publish - This will save your post and publish it to your blog for everyone to see. You will want to use this button most of the time.
