It's driving me crazy that I can't find Christian websites with RSS!
What is RSS? Google calls it "your inbox for the web."
RSS is a technology used to help find out what's new on your favorite websites without having to visit each one and look at every page to see what's new. I use Google Reader and keep track of all of my favorite sites with it. Yes, I am a geek, but it's really convenient. I just check one website every day and only visit the sites that have new information I really want to read.
Getting back to the point, none the premier Presbyterian mission websites I've been looking at all night have RSS! The closest any of them get is the Presbyterian Global Fellowship's blog which does have a syndicated feed (Atom - a sibling of RSS).
I don't want to bash these websites. Presbyterian Global Fellowship's blog appears to be pretty active and have good content. Not having RSS just makes it more difficult for people to keep up with what's new on your site and makes the Presbyterian church less attractive to younger folk. The PCUSA's national website doesn't even have RSS! (edit - After much searching, I've found this not to be true and have added multiple posts about it).
I am glad NWMCmission.org has RSS thanks to the Community Server software it uses, but I wish it had a single feed for the whole site. You have to subscribe individually to each forum, blog, photo gallery, etc. for the time being.
