Hello and Happy May! Only 2 months to go!
Please join us as we continue to pray over this year's New Wilmington Mission Conference:
*
Speakers - Morning Meeting- Kang Na; Adult Bible 1- James Edwards; Adult Bible 2- Joan Gray; Adult Mission 1- BJ Woodworth; Adult Mission 2- John McCall; Young Adult- Shane Bennett; High School- Christian Zebley; Evening Speakers- Sasan Tavassoli, Bruce Reyes-Chow, Ben Lowe, Augustine Jabokumar, Sarah Freeman, Greg and Rebecca Sparks; please be praying for all these speakers- for the Lord to guide their preparations and fill them with the Holy Spirit.
*
Attendance - Pray for our attendance to reach 1000. This number would be a tribute to how God is able to do far more abundantly than we would expect. Please pray that everyone who does attend will be pointed to Jesus as the pioneer and perfector of our faith and will learn how to better follow as His disciples.
*
Summer Service - Please pray for the students as individuals finish school and prepare themselves for the trip, and for the team which will come together for orientation on May 29th and leave for Berlin on June 1. Pray for God to prepare ministries, opportunities, and people who will enrich our team and bring God glory. Pray also for Andrea in Berlin, who is working out the housing and other details for our team. The team will be led by Kyle Joachim and the team consists of Josh Blessing, Claudia Brown, Renee Hilbelink, Emilie Humes, Luke Joachim, Nicole Merritt, Steve Nelson, and Ben Oegema.
Additional Prayers:
Please remember Jaime Hofmeister and John Magnuson in your prayers as they are the two young adults from NWMC who will be providing leadership for the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Youth Camps this summer.
Please also keep Harold Kurtz and Polly in your prayers. Harold is in the hospital and undergoing some tests.
Finally, To the Church Triumphant - Robb McLaughlin, just a few weeks after his wife, Megs. Please keep their families and friends in your prayers as well.
"I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will hope, for your name is good. I will praise you in the presence of your saints." Psalm 52:9
