Connected IN MISSION


  • WMI is the global mission emphasis at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  NWMC partners with WMI in many ways.  WMI is dedicated to developing mission vision, nurturing missionary vocations, and cultivating missional congregations.

  • Presbyterian World Mission of the PC(USA) is the historic partner of NWMC.  World Mission brings God's global family together to heal the wounds of poverty and violence and proclaim God's saving love in Jesus Christ.

  • ECO Global Missions is the mission engagement arm of ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, part of the family of Presbyterians served by NWMC.

  • World Outreach is the missions mobilizing and sending arm of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, which is part of the family of Presbyterians served by NWMC.

  • The Outreach Foundation engages Presbyterians and global partners in proclaiming the good news of Jesus by creating dynamic relationships that deepen mission passion and build mission capacity. Christ.

  • Frontier Fellowship invites believing communities to engage people groups where the good news of Jesus and his kingdom is not yet known. For Every People: An Indigenous Church; and For Every Church: A Mission Vision

     

  • The Antioch Partners is a missionary sending agency which partners with local Presbyterian churches in the US in sending followers of Jesus to participate in God’s mission in the world.

Opportunities for Further Mission Education

The leadership of the New Wilmington Mission Conference recommend these other organizations and conferences as a way to continue learning about God's mission and how to be a part of it.

  • Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a dynamic course on the biblical, historical, strategic, and cultural facets of what God is doing around the world.  The course highlights God's global purpose through a fifteen week curriculum designed around four vantage points or "perspectives" — Biblical, Historical, Cultural and Strategic.

  • Held every three years, the Urbana Student Missions Conference is a space fully set apart to focus on God, to discover God's global purposes, and to discern the Spirit's call for your life.  The next Urbana will meet Dec. 27-31, 2018 in St. Louis, MO.
