Just like it says, take a moment to introduce yourself. Let
people know who you are, especially if your alias is like mine. Here's an explanation if you want one.
My name is Andrew and I first attended NWMC at the ripe age of 1 month in 1977. They say I slept in a dresser drawer . . .
For a while I came back to fish in the lake and ride my bike around
campus, then it was to play ball and spend time with friends. My
summer service trip to work with Good News Partners in Chicago got me to spend a couple years working at The Pittsburgh Project on the North Side of Pittsburgh. I've worked as a web developer for the past few years.
This year, I'm back all week with my wife Jill. We've needed a
spiritual retreat for a couple years and I look forward to conference
filling that void again.
Even though I know most everyone who's registered so far, please take a
minute to let me and everyone else know what you've been up to.
Thanks.
I hope to see you all in a couple weeks.

This is Tyler Domske.
I have been coming to NWMC since back in the summer of 1980, when I was a mere somthing months old. I have been every year since, making 2006 my 27th conference (do the math, it works out).
I was a high school psychology, geography, and history teacher for four years, and now I am a seminary student at the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Iowa.
Over the years I have worked my way up through the ranks, attending conference as: - Drooly baby - Conference Kid - Junior - Jr. High Delagate (back when we still had to stay with our parents in Eich - "Party Hall?") - High School Delagate - Young Adult Delegate - Work Crew (w/ Dining Hall Pots and Pans) - Summer Service 2000 (Italy) - NWMC Office Assistant - High School Men's Counselor - High School Men's Dorm Director - Assistant High School Men's Coordinator - Youth Advisory Team Member
NWMC rocks the house. If you have any questions about how and why it rocks, let me know. If you have suggestions as to how and why it could rock more, let me know that, too.
boom.
Hey Jesus, you're so fine. You're so fine you blow my mind.

Hey, this is Michael Ludwig,
I've been to Conference a couple times and I love it.
I spent the last year teaching English in Slovakia, so I'm going to be a Mission Study leader this year.
I'm looking forward to some hot afternoons on the soccer field, kickin' speakers, and great small group discussions. See ya there.

hi my name is Eric Juengel, i have been to conference since 1990, and this was 16th year. I always have the best time of my life there, it's my favorite place in the world, and favorite time of the year, o have made so many friends there, and are still making more, i think everyone in the world should come atleast once. I think this year was my best cz it really changed me, and effected me. And like for the past 4 or 5 years, my and my family have gotten atleast someone new from my town to come each year.

My name is Rob Bradford and I have been coming to conference for quite a few years now. I dont really keep track because it doesn't really matter. I have been a conference kid, junior high crazy kid, high school and young adult delegate. I also went on Summer Service to Kenya in 2001 and have been a high school boys counselor. This year I was in charge of Sideshow and I helped with The Spot and anything else that needed help.
I am currently unemployed, but I was a youth pastor for 6 years. I am in school getting my Master's degree in education and I currently plan on getting back into youth ministry or going overseas to teach English when I graduate.

My name is Tom Ayres. I've been coming to conference over the past 4 years and have been a part of the HS staff for all 4 years. My latest role or title is Ass.t to the asst to the Asst HS mens Coordinators. Basically, Im the guy in all of those pictures of Chipples Stapleton and Tyler Dumski in the background with the video camera. My primary role this past year was to film and edit the majority of the Spot, Sideshow, Making the band, and T-Shirt ads you saw in coordination with Chip and Ty.
If you have yet to find the spot and sideshow blog...please gives us a little write up on how you like it and any ideas of how they could be made better.
Going to the Spot...it is really hot....Going to the spot because its..............FUN?

My name is Matt Geiger and this is my 15th year of conference....wow...I am an old man! I am 29 years old and living in Omaha Ne with my 3 amazing children. They are awesome and I am a blessed man!
I love conference and believe it is super important to take a week of my year out to focus on God. He has gotten me through some very dark years in my life, and conference has laid that foundation. He also has blessed me beyond measure and conference has been a huge part of that too. I grow closer to Him and because of that, I have become that man that I want to be. Growing closer day by day, walking the path, and picking myself back up when I fall... I would not be the man I am without the foundation that was laid by NWMC. I am close to God because of it and I am lucky enough to be blessed with friends that love God and love me. My best friends ever have been conference friends.
I have seen and done things that you "would not believe, even if I told you." These places God has taken me are because of the foundation laid by God at NWMC. I am blessed, highly favored, and positioned to prosper.
Geiger He is slowly but surely making me the man I want to be.

david bailey here. mom and dad were missionaries to Beirut, Lebanon - that's where I grew up. Been going to conference since the dawn of time. I was oneof the last to actually stay in atent. Been on work crew, Summer Service ('85, Korea) wrote themusic for the drama on year, wrot e the theme song for 3 years, did an evening program twice, lead career Bible Hour, young adult mission hour, and young adult vespers. Oh, and have done a few concerts along the way. :-) Most people know this, but I became a full tiem hippiefolksinger after I was diagnosed with a brain tumor and told i had 6 months to live. that was ten years ago. God is good. the only years in my life when my faith was shaky were the years I neglected to go to conference. - I'm all in. this year, my daughter went as a 9th grader so the tradition lives on. I was really dissapointed with conference last year, but I thought this year was hugely better. And yes, the band is awesome, but they need to understand that the drums don't need to play on every song - it's just too much for many of the older ears - and the presence of and respect for the older generations is one of the things that makes us unique from every other conference in the universe.
