so, haha!! i win! i am the first to post about music!! Yes! well, i enjoy the more contemporary christian music, though there are quite a few excellent hymns. Each year at nwmc, the music touches me and lifts me. i have always been inspired by music, and i love to sing. i am amazed again and again how my voice soars when i sing for the Lord. anyway, i love the music at nwmc, and though there are cd's, and radio stations and ipods and such with that music, there's something special about singing it with hundreds of other believers. hearing the voices singing in unison, and sometimes in harmony, together to praise the Lord, it's amazing. sitting up on stage in the choir each year, i love the sound. God said make a joyful noise, that it doesn't have to be beautiful. but we definitely make beautiful joyful noises. each year when we sing "surely the presence," i get goose bumps, and i cry. i don't know why, other than they're tears of joy and happiness. i absolutely love music!!
