Conference is a great way for your family to vacation together and to expose your children to mission at the same time. New Wilmington's rural community and the lovely Westminster College campus provide a safe environment. Families are welcomed at NWMC. There are many who come every year. Some have staff positions, others just come for the speakers and fellowship.
Each parent is responsible for helping with child care. Childcare for infants and toddlers 2 years and under is provided in the morning. Evening childcare includes all those entering second grade and younger. Parents need to volunteer to assist the permanent staff person in the morning/evening session of their choice. One parent needs to cover one session for each child enrolled in the program.
Older children are invited to participate in VBS and other preschool, primary and junior programs.
Some families stay in the dorms, others camp in area campgrounds, stay in bed and breakfasts or with friends. There are fees for childcare and meals for those staying off campus.
