It's good to see you hanging out here, David. I was going to give you some quick questions, but figure it's only fair if I answer them as well, so here goes . . .
My favorite music and lyrics topic is Non-Christian music. It's probably just rebelling (sorry Mom), but I've always struggled to find Christian groups I love so the topic is secular music:
Live - They have poetry, energy, beauty and are real about it. Collective Soul's a close second (anyone know if they're Christians?)
Numb by Linkin Park - It just reminds me of depression, when I was sick and tired of everything and hated the fact that I was.
The Boys of Summer by the Ataris - The original's really good, but I just love their remake. It usually doesn't work that way.
- If you were asked any question about secular music what would it be (with the answer?)
Yeah, this is a cop-out. I'm out of questions and answers.
It sure looks like music's about rebellion to me from my responses. I usually thought I did a decent job of not rebelling . . . too much.
I look forward to hearing your responses if you have a chance.
Is anyone else game?
