Primaries                Juniors

The New Wilmington Mission Conference is pleased to offer programming specifically for elementary-aged children.  Divided into two separate age groups, this part of the New Wilmington Mission Conference seeks to teach kids that they can make a difference in their small world, and have an impact in the great big world, too!

The Primary program welcomes children entering Kindergarten through those having completed 2nd grade. The Juniors program is designed for children who have completed 3rd grade through those having completed 5th grade.

Morning session 8:30am-12:15pm*
Evening session 6:30pm-9:15pm*

*These times include a drop off and pick-up window so that parents may fully attend the adult programming.

The Primary program is for children entering kindergarten through having completed second grade. The goal of the program is to have fun while exploring mission in everyday living.  Activities and discussions focus on bible lessons that teach kids that God can and will use them to make a difference in the world, perhaps even starting with their own friends and families!  Every day students get to meet missionaries from around the world, hear what it is like to be a kid in their country, and learn about the amazing work of God in that part of the world.  Each day's schedule also includes music, games (most often outdoors), Bible story, discussion, and crafts.

The Juniors program is designed for students who completed grades 3-5.  Juniors attend the Conference with their families, and our program is broken up into Morning Activities and Evening Activities.

During our mornings, we welcome Missionaries who help us to explore and learn about Mission. We also spend time in worship and studying Scripture where students are encouraged to ask questions and explore the way in which the gospel has been shared with us and continues to be shared across cultures and people groups around the world. Juniors attend Morning Meeting as a group and then are dismissed to their families for lunch, afternoon activities, and dinner.

In the evenings, we meet again for Evening Meeting and Evening Activities that include Crafts, Games and special events like Swim Night, Water Games Night, and everyone's favorite, Capture the Flag! After our Evening Activities, Juniors are dismissed to their families.
