New Wilmington Mission Conference

As Christians,we are called to love everyone. In this talk, we will dive into some essential questions about Love. What does it mean to love as a Christian? How do we love as a church? How can we be a church that encourages and equips those around us, especially women and minorities in leadership roles? How do we represent God through our love and how does he love us?

  • 6:00 pm – Live discussion via Zoom, break-out groups and discussion via Padlet board.

Join us for a Live discussion and follow-up of Mike’s message as we dissect more about what it means to love as Christians and how that extends to our communities.

Pastor Mike, a.k.a. “Bear” by family and friends, is the Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Jerome. Married to Jen, the couple have two active boys who love hiking, camping and fishing.

He and his wife are also foster parents and currently have a full house with 7!

With close to 20 years of youth ministry, fostering, and volunteering in schools, Mike has a passion for discipleship and Christian formation, with an emphasis and a desire to see our faith passed onto future generations.

When he’s not busy changing diapers, playing hide and seek with his boys or working, he can be found polishing his ukulele skills or hanging out with the 8th member of the family, his black lab, Blue.
