Rev. Dr. Asa Lee

Rev. Dr. Asa Lee currently serves as the President and Professor of Theological Formation for Ministry at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to this appointment, he was the Vice President for Campus Administration, Associate Dean for Community Life, and Director of African American Studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Lee is a Baptist minister, licensed to minister by the Faith Shepherd Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., and was ordained by Mount Olive Baptist Church in Arlington, Virginia, where he dedicated ten years of service as Assistant Pastor and Minister of Christian Education.
Dr. Lee is an alumnus of Hampton University in Virginia, where he earned a degree in Music Education. Additionally, he holds a Master of Divinity degree from Wesley Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Ministry from Virginia Theological Seminary. Dr. Lee is married to Rev. Chenda Innis Lee, a Methodist minister, and they are the parents of four daughters.
